Dog owners out there?
Just curious what breed of dogs you guys own. We have 2 greyhounds and I can't imagine owning anything different. I have a supercab with the rear seat that folds down flat and they love nothing more than riding in the Ford.

we have 2 chocolate labs and a golden retreiver pup. our airedale just died a coupla months ago, she was a good dog tho

Pitbull/greyhound mix as near as we can tell. The pound said she was pitbull/german shepherd, but there's no shepherd in her at all.

That's really rare. Most greyhounds come from 2 lines, the AKC and retired race dogs like my 2. Anyone who adopts a retired race dog gets a pet that is spayed/neutered and has to promise not to breed it (I guess in case the surgery wasn't sucessful). One of the reasons we adopted greyhounds was the abuse that the breed has suffered. Even with an average of 15,000 dogs being adopted each year, there is usually a higher number of euthanized dogs. Anyone who has ever met a greyhound will know how sweet they really are.

i had a springer spaniel.....best darn dog i ever had the pleasure knowing. had to leave him behind when we moved across the country. sure do miss him.

AKC registered, excellent blood line, pedigreed hunter, 95 lb White Lab female...
My wife named her Murphy which gives you a hint that THIS dog won't hunt :-)

nothing more than a LARGE, beautiful lap dog that fights my wife every night for space at the foot of the bed - but I wouldn't have it any other way !!!

Still a lovable, sweet, playful pup at 4 years old !

I have a German Shorthair. Awesome bird dog, great family dog and if anyone sees her, don't tell her she is a dog....I'm pretty sure she thinks she is human.
