Howdy! I'm thinking about getting the Diablo Delta 3-stage chip for my 2000 f250 sd v10. I was curious where most people are installing the flip switch on these trucks. I'd kind of like to keep it out of site since it doesn't really match the stock interior switches, but I also don't want it to get bumped accidentally. Any thoughts? thanks.
I mounted my switch in one of the holes, in the lower dash frame. I removed fuse access panel and there was several holes in the metal frame. It is completely out of site and very accessible by reaching just under the dash by the steering column. Just remeber which direction you mount it so that you know which direction is performance and which is tow (or what ever 3rd stage you get) and stock is usally in the middle.
Good luck! Keep on truckin'
1. Side of the steering column
2. Under the lower dash (as stated above)
3. If you don't smoke, in the ash tray (easy to get to, hard to bump by mistake)
4. In the glove box.
