Tax Refund Purchases!
OK. I'm sure I'll get some good responses to this! 
I'm getting back around $2000 this year (unfortunately due to a failed business
). My wife will likely let me spend a decent amount of it on the truck since it IS such a big investment. 
What would you guys buy & why would you buy it?
You can take a look at my truck in my album but I'll describe it anyways. 1997 F-350 Dually CC PSD. This is NOT a work truck. It leads a babied life. I like it because it's bigger than all those "Soccer Mom" SUV's & it'll haul my fifth wheel when I retire! As of now it doesn't tow much of anything.

I think if I had the money, I'd contact Gale Banks and see what it would run me to go with the Banks PowerPak or Stinger kit. As I understand it, the kits include chips to "up" the performance of your ride as well as several modifications for improving airflow to our air-starved beasts. I've never purchased anything from them because I'm generally so broke I have trouble buying diesel!!() but I've never heard anybody complain about the quality or results obtained from the products. That being said, with my apologies to Ken here at FTE, a Superchip or Diablo chip purchased from him would do you wonders. I'm just thinking about if I had $2,000 to deal with!

No apologies needed. Matter of fact, we are putting together a performance package that will include:
1. Choice of Diablo chip, Diablo Delta chip, Superchips chip or Superchips Microtuner
2. Choice of aluminized exhaust system or stainless exhaust system (or downpipe for 94-97 Powerstrokes)
3. Big Sucker intake
4. Gauges and gauge pod
5. Diablo shift valve
6. Optionally, a Power Pedal.
Expect to see them later this week. The package will represent a significant savings over buying the items seperately and we're going to try to make the best bang for the buck.

Sounds great!! I'd much rather buy from you than anybody else anyway. That is, when I get rich, of course!! I can't wait to see details on the package!! May have to go see my banker!!!

I'll keep my eyes open! I probably won't get to spend ALL of the money on the truck 
but I know I could make up an excuse to spend a decent chunk of it! I'm due for the 60K service & I could replace a lot of the stock items with performance equipment.
