super tire

What is the best looking and longest lasting tire out there? I want a great tire but don't want to be changing it in a few months since it will be on a daily driver.

BFG AT's are a great all around tire but suck in the mud. You can get roughly 50,000 miles out of them. They are a great street tire and good for wet weather, sand and dirt. Very quiet and smooth on highway.

i'm sorry, but thats a long time to type "tire". were you drinking when you did that? if you were drunk, it would be even quicker for a sober person, so, theres not much excuse. seem to me that all the threads in the past 2-3 weeks have just been the same stuff only rehashed

I type with my pointy fingers only so sometimes it can take me 5 seconds too . . . don't be so harsh highboy! Oh, and make sure you don't spell it "tyre" like a goofball from some foreign land or it won't work . . . that's my tip for the day.

I have Goodyear Regatta's on my Camry. They're supposed to last for 80,000 miles though I've got 60,000 on them now and they're starting to show a little wear. Is this normal?? One tire was even wearing unevenly . . . had to take it off so I'm driving with one spare right now. Looks all ghetto but at least it's a real spare and not a donut. Wonder how long spares last . . . what do you guys think is the longest lasting spare in case I need to drive on it a while?

A good tip I have for getting more mileage out of your tires is to replace your speedometer/odometer with a metric unit. Then it will look like you get 100,000 miles out of a set of tires. Really they're only kilometers but still it looks really impressive. Plus when you have people in your car you can fly past cops and they'll be all like "hey man, you were going 20 over the limit" and you'll be all like "yeah, screw that pig . . . he won't dare pull ME over". Then when your friends try it you can laugh at them. Plus they'll all be impressed at how much longer the exact same tires lasted on your rig vs. their rig.
