'94 PSD- any problems?
I'm going to look at a '94 3/4 ton PSD w/ auto on Sat. and I would like to know if there were any trouble spots in these early build trucks. Is the auto tranny from that year OK? If it's weaker than the later units I will keep searching. I believe it's the 4r100. Any problems with the motor that year? i love my '94 f150 just isn't heavy and strong enough so i know the truck itself will be ok. Thanks.

Unless this is a very late 94 it is probably an IDI engine instead of a Power Stroke. As far as I know the 94's with manuals were Power Strokes and the autos were IDI engines. If the engine is painted gray it is an IDI and if it is black it is a Power Stroke.
