I am going to paint my 84 bronco 2 soon and i was wondering if anyone knows is hitachi orange a more durable paint. I look at the paint and i wonder if it is thicker or more chip risistant or anyhting.

Probably not by color. It depends on the manufacturer of the paint Endura, Dupont Imron, etc. A polyurethane paint may be more chip resistant that an acrylic urethane but if your gonna rock bash this thing, no paint will stand up forever against stones.
