Broken Rim
I noticed a slight leak in my front tire on my F350 Dually. After trying some fix-a-flat in it, it continued to leak. Finally, about 2 weeks later I was once again airing it up and I notice the aluminum rim had a crack in it through the ring that attaches the spokes to the rim where the tire is mounted. I thought I remembered some posts about this from over a year ago, but could not find anything.
Has anyone else had this problem? And no, I am not a high speed curb jumper and the truck has not been wrecked. Also, how much should I plan on spending on a few/used one?

Never had that problem on a truck, but my mom had bought a brand new Chrysler New Yorker and it would not hold air in one of the tires. Turned out that it was a cracked rim and either came that way from the factory or somewhere in between there and the dealer. Anyway they relaced it under warranty, but it does happen. I replied on another thread about warped rims that we had on three of our 1 ton 2wd work trucks. Some times you just get a bad set of rims.
