01 Expy running bad?
My wife's Expy is an 01 with 50,000 mi. It has the 4.6L engine. Last week it started missing when you give it gas at 30+mph, expecially when going up bridges or overpasses. It stalls like it is not getting fuel. I thought the fuel filter may be dirty, so I had her take it to Instalube and have it changed. I am working long hours right now, so I am trying to solve this problem either over the phone or at night when I get home (trying to avoid a high mechanic bill!). The problem is a little better but not solved. It idles normal. It only does this when you driving down the road. I am thinking either burned out spark plug or plugged fuel injector. Any ideas? Thanks.
