Tranny Trouble
Hey all,
I have a '95 F250 5.8l with a E4OD tran with 92,000 miles. Just recently it started over reving shifting up from first to second gear. It also started producing a loud "clunk" noise when shifted into reverse, though I have heard that that noise could be made by U-Joints. It also (starting this afternoon) started shifting very rough and jerky when driving.
So.......question is, whats a matter with it and what should my course of action be? Is it going the way of all E4OD's? Thanks much.
