Question What size can I run?

I have a 2004 F-250 SuperDuty Crewcab 4x4 shortbed and I recently installed the Donahoe Racing 4.5 inch plush ride kit on it. It looks like I could fit much larger than the recommended tire size (35x12.50 or 315/75/16) on it. Anyone else have this kit on their SuperDuty and if so, what size tires/wheels are you running on it?

They recomend 35's for a , reason, so when you bottom out or hit a good size rut or hole when turning, you don't tear up sheet metal.

If your truck is strickly a street queen, then you probably could fit a little bigger tire, but I sure don't recomend it.

Remeber there's a right way and wrong way..

It all depends a lot on what you are doing with your truck?? Off roading?? Mostly road warrior?? Loading it to full capacity AND off-roading

My truck is mostly street driven. I live in El Paso (Military) and the most off-road I do is through the desert sometimes, but nothing major. I thought the 35s would be the best deal too. I just didn't want to put 35s on it and look like it could take more. I get tired of hearing people say that the tires looks too small when you see a lifted truck and "small" looking tires. Just hard to trust some peoples opinions sometimes. I have had people saying to run nothing smaller than 40s on it, even though I know that would never work.
Thanks for your replies.

Talking

Well, ended up going with some 315x75x16s this afternoon and I must say that it looks great. Now if only this El Paso weather would not turn to blowing sand as soon as I want to wash my truck, I could clean it up and take some pics. I would post a pic or two on here if I had the slightest idea how...? For all of you that provided help/suggestions, I thank you and my SuperDuty thanks you!

These trucks of ours are so big people will always say that. Usually people who have no idea what they are talking about. Even when my 38's are on i have people tell me they are too small. loco!

Now when I slap my 35's on with my 8" lift i understand.
