Dzervit,

How much do those Stealth Boxes typically run? They do look very nice. Have you personally heard one before?

I've owned stealthboxes before and they are simply amazing. How they cram that deep, powerful, accurate bass into such a small package is beyond me. My last one was in my 99 Expedition, it fit perfectly in the stock location and I cannot even begin to describe how fantastic it sounded. There is nothing else like it, period.

The downside: they are pricey... I'll have to check out how much I paid for my last one. I'd expect to pay several hundred bucks for the new one.

I got a box for inside the bed, I thought that the jack inside the truck wasn't the best idea anyway. I put tools and jumper cables and such in a large tool box.

box is nice, could have better bass but the room is limited. I think they did the best with the space given. Was a little tough finding the subs to fit. I put bazooka subs in mine and they barely fit. The depth is the problem. Over all though the form and function are both very good. If I had unlimited space I would have built a box to fit the paramaters of the sub. But I want to use the seat and inside of the truck. The jack is in a tool box in the bed, I have a cover on my bed. My advice would be to look for a sub with a very low cubic foot box dimension, this will help to add deep bass to the box. Hope this helps

Daorte, I love the box, good sounds great. I agree with blue there's not much space to work with but the box does great. I installed a Kicker 10" in mine wnet in smooth and no problems with clearance. As for the jack, well the same for me mine is in a box in the back. Until I can find a better place their it will stay. The jack is a small price to pay for the sound you get in return. Audison amp 420W with Focal 5" and tweeters crossed. The bass is great but the focal's really do a great job on the mid's and highs.
Hope this helps

Polk Audio Subs have a low cubic foot need and for lower bass just humor me and plug up your ports with a sock ball
