i have just recently in the past week recieved this continuous code: 62, which is supposedly the converter clutch error. I cleared the continous codes and drove and then tested it again and it came back. Could this be the mlps switch? or what. (e40d)
Did a Site Search (highly recommended research tool btw) for +Code +62 +converter and came up with a page of hits in the last 6 months... typical is this one:
Try a search in there with descriptions of your symptoms and so forth that should give you some more information.
Speaking of information, generally speaking you'll get more information quicker if you *give* a bit more info too. Good things to include are 1) vehicle information including Year, Engine, Transmission, 2) stock or how modified if not stock, 3) symptoms for troubleshooting .. Is the tranny slipping, shifting hard, doing well except when either hot or cold.. you get the idea, and 4) Any error codes, just like ya did.
Give the guru sleuths something to work with right off and you're more likely to get good info sooner. Okay?
Now, I'll get this posted to bump ya up once.
