I am just about dead in the water here. I have checked just about every boneyard in vegas and none have an 86 Bronco 4x4 351w a4od with tilt steering and a complete column.
Having said that I need the measurements of the column through the firewall so I can order a new column from Ididit. When we pulled mine it mysteriously walked out of the shop one day never to be seen or heard from again, of course before I could measure it. I need from the steering wheel nut, to the gear box.
Please any help is appreciated, if anyone has a resource to this information, or wants to make a quick $20 for getting me an accurate measurement it would sure make my life easier. I am at the end of my rope and quickly running out of time.
I can't find one around here to measure ( that's complete at least) to send in with my order for the custom Ididit column though. All the column's have been broken up for their components. I guess I could always hit a used car lot with a tape measure and my eye out for a f-150 though huh...
hmmm guess that is the only option I have. I could measure from the wheel to the fire wall, then from the firewall to the steering box. Any idea how exact a number these places need to fab a custom column?
No,thats a new one on me,I thought as long as it was a normal truck without lift mods that they would use standard measurements.Let me see if I can get ahold of parks911,he could probably get you the measurements you need.

Thanks for contacting me. Unfortunatly I can't help with my truck. I already have the column repaired and reinstalled.
I might be able to get the measurements off another truck though. I will check when I'm at the shop tommorow. 80-86 Bron or F-Series, need measurement from steering wheel nut to the gear box.
