Transmission valve
I notice that there is a transmission valve for sale that claims to smooth out shifts when full power is applied.
Does any one have experience with it and what happens if I install and then get a chip for a 97 Powerstroke

I'm not familiar with the transmission valve but I put a 50 hp chip, 3" downpipe and K&N air filter in in my 97 PSD and the rough shifts are almost completely gone!

Sonnex Triaccumulator springs I thinkl is what your after. You can score a set for about 35 bucks or so. Will let you know what they do next week as mine are going in this weekend. You can get them from TYMAR. And others
