Dead 1999 5.4L
I was just at my dealership trying to find whats wrong with my truck and it ended up being a dead cylinder. They were giving me some options and they called around for me looking for a used 5.4L. The only one they could find remotely close to the area is a 2000 5.4L. They weren't sure if anything was changed between the two. I was just wondering if anyone on this board can give me any information about if the 2000 will drop right in, or what'll need to be changed. Thanks.

A dealer wasn't sure if there were any changes between 1999 and 2000? and you're about to let these jokers put a motor in your truck?
There aren't any hardware changes that a necessary to bolt that motor in your truck. I'd even venture to say that the PCM is interchangeable, being that close in years.
