I Know I Must Be An Idiot But I Would Still Like To Have Some Feedback On Disconnecting The Slave Cyl. Line On The 5speed Tranny On A 1994 Small Ranger Truck Without Having To Slid The Tranny Back And Removing The Roll Pin At The Cyl Assembly. Thank Ya''ll Bear

I see this was posted a long time ago, but I'll answer it anyway, maybe it'll help someone else. There's a white plastic collar around the line where it plugs into the slave cylinder. This has to be carefully pushed inward to disengage a number of little spring-loaded little fingers that lock it into place. There is a special tool made for this, and I don't recommend trying it w/o the tool, as the plastic ring damages quite easily and once it's gone it's a B!@#$CH to get out. Good luck!
