Best I remember, the Cleveland has a small block bellhousing bolt pattern, so it wouldn't work - besides, it's not really a truck motor anyway. What's wrong with going with another 460? Whatever you put in there, it needs to have the big block tranny bolt pattern.
351C is a stumping fool, Ford should have dumped the Windor blcok and kept the Cleveland block.
302W/351W hum both came in cars first, then were put in trucks.
Windor block, is the one thats not really a truck motor, where did it first apper, 1962 Fairlane,Falcon,Meteor/Comet 221/260/289/302/ are Windsor design blocks, the 351W has a taller deck height.
It might be better with 2V heads, but if it is gonna have 4V heads, then there's no way it would be good in a truck, especially when comparing it to a 460. It would be much easier to put a new 460 in than try to get a 351C to fit, much less match the grunt of the 460. I didn't say anything about the windsors here... 351W makes enough torque to be a good truck motor, and I agree that the 302 isn't. So, where did the 351C first appear since you consider all Windsors car motors? I don't know for sure, that's why I'm asking...but did Ford ever put the Cleveland in a truck either? They put the 351M, but I don't remember the Cleveland...
