tanny swap
I am looking for all info i can get from what transmission to use to everything I have a 1987 ext cab F350 with a 460 manual transmission and 4x4 and I want to switch to a 6 speed manual and don't knwo which one will bolt up to my motor or my transfer case so that why i am asking for all info.

None the 6 spd came along in 99 and those are modular engines. But you may find an adapter for them. As for transfer case I know not. I do Know of people useing the dodge tranny with adapters so you might find for the 6spd Ford .
