6.9 heads
I have a 1985 6.9l with a bad block, right now i'am guessing that the heads are ok but need to be reworked. I have a 1984 block that I'am looking to rebuild. Does anyone know if I can swap the heads from the "85" to the "84" with no problems.

The 83 engines used a different pre-chamber and slightly different compression ratio. All the other 6.9 heads are the same. Any 6.9 head, including the 83 will bolt onto any 6.9 block.
