351 manifold questions

351 manifold questions

i have an old 351 manifold of unknown year and i have a 89 5.8/351 motor with
EFI i wanna know if all 351 manifold are interchangable and how do i know if the old manifold is good or not , cause i wanna dump the whole EFI system for the classic carb look.

Yes they interchange. To check for cracks or what have you, take it to a machinist. You didn't ask but you'll need a distributor off a carbed vehicle (duraspark II). Later

Also, don't let the number of bolt holes throw you. ABout the time they went to egr's they changed the number of bolts that hold down the intake. The older style has I think 1 extra bolt per side on the back corners. The newer intakes will bolt right on fine without that extra bolt
