Any part reproduced

Now that I have your attention -- If you could have any two parts reproduced for the 73-79 100/350, what would they be? I'm not talking about parts you can easily buy, from Ford or that are already reproductions. I want to know which parts are most wanted -- and next to impossible to find.

What do you think?

Harry I like the idea, but what about the whole bed for a reasonable price?

whole bed, even a reinfoirced fiberglass one would be good.

emission parts.

new guage cluster. 120 mph speedo, even a new 100 would be ok, I hate the 85s

new A/C assembly

tilt steering column (I need a few more)

trim for crewcab (rear door trim, upper and lower)

XLT headliners (and rear for crewcab) center support trim for crewcab headliner...

bed light switch

ranger fuel tank shields (behind the seat tank trim pieces for each side)

stainless steel jr. west-coast mirrors (and full size for that matter)

bucket seats/console they looked like from a Bronco, saw them on the lot in a F-150 stepside in 1979

lower trim 1973-76

1979 hood insulation pad (it was available earlier in MD trucks)

ford campershell especially the rear door.

RH bedside with lower storage compartment

door window glass

more later....

Headliners in original factory colors- I can only find the perforated in a "paint to match"
Seatbelts that match the originals- Again only able to find the lap belts and they don't resemble the original style
Dash pads- Not the "cover up the old dash" style

Please disregard the dash pad. I stand corrected. Blue oval parts has lots of bed parts including entire inner/outersides as a whole piece. Not cheap though. Just add a .com to the end of their name. hope that helps for the beds.

I would take a supercab cab!! Would that be sweet to get a brand new FORD cab. You could undercoat the you know what out of it in the spot's where they rust, it would last for 30 years Just the shell and next would be the race trace moulding

Supercab pop-out window seals.

Dash pad (not cover) and door panels in green (green anything - paint sucks!!)

fuel tank switching solenoid that is under the cab

oh, and the black molded bumper pads that curve around the ends of the bumper

Hmmm, called two dealers and they told me they couldn't get them anymore. The one is usually good at finding the older part that Ford still offers, I'll have to call them back and have them try again.

Prop Valve

Part # is D5TZ-2B257-B. I was surprised when Ford said it's still available. Pricey, though- $103. with tax. This is for a '79 F250 4x4, but I really don't think there's any difference, leastwise, I hope not. I want to swap in a booster and master cylinder from an F350 2WD, and I don't want to waste the valve..... Bill....
