Axel 73 non-limited slip 5.13:1 gear ratio
springs H48
GVWR 15,000lbs GVWR 15,000lbs. I guess you had that one figured out, eh?
Thanks for your reply Quadzilla. In regards to the axel non-limited slip does this mean it is a full posi and 5.13:1 is this a low gearing or what is it compareable to.
It' s not a posi rear end. the 5.13 gears are quite low. I assume you've got a fairly high rpm/speed ratio. With my 4.10's, at 70mph, I'm turning 2000rpms. I imagine you're turning quite a few more rpms at 70mph than that.
Thanks for your reply Quadzilla.I'm turning 2500-2800 rpms at 70 mph and the tach. starts into the yellow line at 3000rpm so I do not usually run that speed to often. What would the advantage be of running such low gears and would this make it harder on fuel than others.
