What does this fit?
Help... I have researched the threads on the site for info regarding flywheels. I have a flywheel part# D7TE-6380-D (G or 6). A guy said this came off of a 351M/400 but Bubba's M-Block page does not list this part# as a viable option for the M engine??? Any ideas? I need a flywheel for a 400 running a 12 inch clutch.

Napa was real helpful in setting me up with a 12" HD diaphram set/kit. Originally I had or have the 11" hole pattern and some other holes that werent tapped. Napa looked up the measurements and stated they had the parts and I took the flywheel with me and got the whole kit. Sorry cannt remember which way they got the measurements but it was 2 hole to hole sets they needed. They also stated that the bolt pattern also matched a chevy 12" p/plate. This is the kicker, Ford rounds the edge of the p/plates and to get the width for a 11" or 12" ford p/plate with go wider. Napas was a diff design more squared so as to not go wider to get the 12" Diaphram. I installed this in my 79 bronco and it clutches easier then a hydrolic (sp) system but is a HD set up. Take your plate to a Napa and they can spec it for you.
