starting problem

i have a 1990 ford ranger and it will not start... i have replaced the solenoid, battery, bench tested the starter and made sure the ground is intact...i have been working on this for days... i can't seem to get the starter to engage on the truck.. the solenoid only clicks...voltmeter across battery reads 13.0 volts both without the key on and when key is turned on... i have also hand cranked the crankshaft and checked all fusess.... please help..

I sounds like your down to a corroded cable, the get corroded inside and you can't see it.

Like Ken sez, it's probably a bad cable. Try adding a jumper cable til it starts.

thanks for the help...the cable from the solenoid to the starter was very corroded inside.. i really appreciate it
