This is a great thing, and thanks to the gentlemen that put this kind of deal together!
Haha, gotta love sales techniques.
Any FTE user will be able to purchase any new Ford (except Cobra or Lightning) from Van Bortel Ford for $200 below factory invoice. "Factory Invoice" is the amount that appears in the "Invoice Total" box of each official Ford Motor Company invoice. Those FTE users that qualify for A/D/X/Z-plan pricing through Ford will be able to purchase any vehicle (including SVT models) for their program price, less $200.
So that means he is cutting $200 out of the hold back?
...So that means he is cutting $200 out of the hold back?
Yes, that's what I'm doing. And we're cutting $500 out of the holdback on 2005 Super-Dutys, at least for the forseeable future (that offer's getting a little "over-heated," so we might have to cut that one back to $200 below invoice).
never mind I found it. NIce now I just have to decide what I want. Does you 200 price take into account any factory rebates? Or would they be taken off too?
Too bad you and Polar are located so far away. The travel costs kinda wipe out any savings I'd get. The dealers in my area are not really budging on price (A-plan), Should They?
X-Plan is for suppliers to Ford, and is within a few dollars of invoice. The employee pricing offered in the summer was WELL below that, usually $1000-$1500 below invoice. True Ford employee pricing is referred to as A (current employee) or Z-Plan (retiree). X-Plan is great if you live in an area where dealers get high prices (NYC and Washington, DC come to mind), or you just don't want to spend 4 hours negotiating a good price. X-Plan lets you walk in the door and say, "here's my price. When can I pick it up?" But our FTE prices are at least $200-$500 below X-Plan, so it's not all it's cracked-up to be.
Jeff,
I tried to fill out the F-150 options and the list was incomplete. Can I call you? Where are your dealers?
Paul in IL, willing to travel to DC area
Hey, that is a nice deal! If I didn't have a good Ford dealership right here in the Chicago area that will do just as well for me I'd be inclined to consider taking a drive.
