Leveling kit??

Im looking to put bigger tires on my 91 f250 7.3ltr 4x4, hopefully about 305's to 315's. I currently have 285's and that is the biggest I can go stock. If I were to just do a leveling kit would I beable to fit that size tires? And if so, could I just do an add a leaf on the front two springs?

thanx for any advise

Let's see... 285 = 33", 305 = 34", 315 = 35". I fit 33's fine on my stock '92 F350 4x4 and have seen stock F350's with 35's on them too. So I would think a 2" 'leveling' kit should give you enough clearance to run 35's on your F250, since F250's seem to be about 2" shorter than F350's. I wouldn't do an 'add-a-leaf' though, that would make it ride too stiff I would think. I don't know about the tire rubbing at full turn on the radius arms though. You may need deep dish wheels there. I run my 33's on 16.5x10's and I don't know the backspacing but they do look fairly deeply dished.

The only other option other than add a leaf would be just a whole new set of leaf springs right? Price wise how much does it jump from add leaf to other methods?
