I'm wondering how many people in the forum use one, their experiences & opinions and whether they use a pre- or post-turbo EGT probe as a trigger.
I have the tranny out rebuilding it right now, and while I'm at it installing a Hypertec downpipe, and EGT gauge. Because of the discussions I've read, I'm puting the EGT pre-turbo, but there'e been some comment about how long it takes to get to the magical 300 deg. exhaust temp, so I want to put a second, separate sensor post-turbo.
Would using the gas version with a 400 deg. trigger present a significant decrease in turbo life-span over the 300 deg. version?
