I Just bought a 88 swb f-150 with the 300 6, I got under it to look at how i could straight pipe it into a flow. It gos fromt he manifold to this other thing then to the cat then to the muffler, i was wondering what that "other thing" is and if i can take it off along with the cat.
Another thing is that I Changed the oil and I put 5 quarts in and it still read low ont he dipstick. How many quarts is required?
