Good idea. I've been going there the last few years myself. Mostly cars, but there are always some trucks around for show and for sale. Lots of interesting things to look at and lots of new and old parts too.

I'll be there (probably) early saturday.

Well it's hard to say. We could shoot for one of the entrances to one of the buildings, but Brun52 and I tried this last year and it never worked. As you probably know, there's LOTS of people usually. I go with a buddy of mine who's really into Mopars, but is looking for a cherry '69 Mach I at a decent price.
How familiar are you with the fairgrounds?

The car and parts swap meet would be a nice place to meet. I am planning on attending where ever we decide to have it

Maybe the best place might be one of the vendor places, I know custom tube always shows up and he is easy to find. We could set a time and meet at his spot, or there is a place to tranfer titles some place that is easy to find. What ever you think I'm open for ideas.

Sounds good John.
Supercrew, have you been there before?

Also, let's try to finalize the plan that week before. I know how things can change! (I just found out I have to go to Penn. the first of next week...)

Maybe we can get a few more of us to go. Doesn't have to be an actual meeting or anything. Just an place to get together...

Anyone going to bring anything, car-wise or parts-wise? And what will we be driving?

Yes, I attend the springfeild swap meet almost every year. If we decied to meet there as a group or if a few of us want to get together a good place to meet would be at the Bumper boys they have been there every year that I have been going

I think I'm having trouble following this thread?? Is the meeting going to be at a swap meet? Or is this an unoficial meeting? If the meeting is still open for ideas, how about a park in the Columbus area? I can load up the grill and we can do some cookin and enjoy the outdoors a bit. Big Darby metro has lots of parking and nice shelters, also a few others with the same facilities.
