i own a 95 PSD 2WD f-250,wich i tow a 9000# fifth wheel camper.i hate the slow "grandma" shifts and would like to install the superchip microtuner(50hp).the truck is all stock and has 67k miles.this tuner will helpthe shifting as it states? i know it says that a EGT gauge is not required,but what is a good gauge to install anyway? where does the egt gauge install?what is the high end of the operating temp?thanks jack k

Look at my pics and see if you like my gauge. You can run 1250*F max all day long. An EGT gauge is mandatory in my opinion if you are going to run any chip or tuner. The EGT gauge installs in the pipe immediately after the exhaust manifold, There is also a pic of that location in my pics.
