Turns out that the previous owner performed a ghetto rig on the brakes.... He installed a brake light switch behind the brake pedal, but it would not allow the pedal to come back far enough.... So the brakes were halfway applied all the time..... this wasnt a problem when he owned it.. but after I installed new F350booster/Mastercylinder ... new drums/shoes/wheel cylinders and then new calipers up front... it really caused a problem...
Heated up the engine pretty quick... but it was mostly the brakes that got smoking hot....
Now all I have to do is fix that busted ball joint =/
