supercrew bumper and stepside bumper

does anyone know if the rear bumpers are the same (the outer facebar) for '01-'03 screw vs the stepside body style? looks to me like the're the same, the screw just doesn't have the padded step under the tailite area. just wanted to be sure...
any help is appreciated!! thanks...paul

I've been told they were interchangeable and I do need one, but I have not tried it yet.
