Hello guys,
I have a 96 Ford E150 convesion van. It has the dual side cargo doors, and the door won't open from the outside. It works fine from the inside. I am sorry about being in the wrong forum, but it's hard getting info on this. I posted before, some months ago.

Today the back door stopped working,so I figured I'd better get off my butt, and fix one of them. I ended up fixing the back door, but I have all the stuff on the inside of the side door off, and was hoping to get a tip on the side cargo door. Of course with all the trim and cup holders off, you still can't see what you're doing. In the morning I'm heading out with mirror and drop light to see if that helps. I have both Hayne's and Chilton's I've been looking at, and they seem a little week in the door hardware section. I looked at the bottom of the door, but couldn't find any clips or hardware that might have slipped off.

As best I can tell, it looks like some sort of cable, and clip that's supposed to go from the outsde handle to the door latch assembly. As mentioned, the power locks, and inside opener latch work fine.
