Brights indicator light.
I have a problem with the light that tells me when I have my high beams on. It never comes on when the high beams are on and sometimes I can't tell when they're on. I changed my factory bulbs with some Sylvania Silverstars and the light came on a few times but then it stopped. It was random. Sometimes it came on and sometimes it didn't. I'm worried. I don't want to drive down the road with my brights on while a cop passes by. He'd definitely pull me over. I also have a problem with my dome light and my door. On the passenger side door, when I open it the dome light comes on. But on my driver side the light doesn't come on when I open the door. My truck is a 1993 F-150 XLT. Help and advice will be muchly appreciated.

the problem with your door light could be that the doorpin wire on the drivers side is crimped or severed. My best advice is to pull the running board cover and check the doorpin wire for voltage forget what color the wire is but if you need to know badly then reply and ill look it up for you I have it from when i did my alarm.

Door pin switches "ground" to operate the interior lights. There is no power to them. If you ground the wire the light should come on and you need a new switch. The hi beam indicator bulb in the instrument cluster may be loose or burned out.
