Another Dumb Criminal

Well, this one isn't a real whopper, but it does qualify as 'dumb'. And to boot, this robbery occurred about 1 block away from one of our stores, and the dumb crook was caught just a few blocks from my store.

Note to self: Make sure get-a-way car has at least one gallon of gas in it when robbing a bank.

I....ah......don't believe this part: The customers locked out of the store voiced more frustration than those who were shut inside it.

As a former employee I can assure you that MANY Wal-Mart customers are idiots and were most likely upset that they couldn't get in. At least their bank robbery incident went over better than the one here. This guy went in Wal-Mart to hide. The problem is, it's right next door to the local police station. He ended up turning the gun on himself.

Not sure what you're asking. Do you want to know what's the big deal over what happened? Without getting political he did take his life in a public place where people witnessed it AND some employees had to clean up afterwards. Now ask yourself how much YOU'D like to clean up someone's brain matter. I did floor maintenance and had to clean some things that weren't too nice, I could only imagine cleaning that.

I'd rather wipe up the floor than run the jail. If that's the way he wanted things, that's the way he wanted things. Harsh way of looking at things perhaps, but I'm also a firm believer in Darwinism...

As for criminal A... He obviously has never seen a movie in his life. I mean come on, if you're going to rob a bank you tell them to give you all of their 1s and 5s because those aren't marked... Then when you get the money you get in the getaway car (always have a getaway car w/ driver) and move the money from bag A to bag B so if they put an ink pack in you'll see it and get rid of it. Any kid who's ever watched heist movies knows this. Foolish if you ask me. If you're going to be so careless go back to robbing 7-11s.

Seriously though, the odds are strongly against anyone out to rob a bank. He'd probably have been better off playing the lottery.

OK, maybe I'm a sick SOB, or maybe I just haven't slept in a day or so... but...

I can't shake the mental picture of some putz running into the grocery section of WallyWorld, punching a round through his cranium, and the next sound hear being the PA stating "Cleanup on aisle 3,4,5 and 6."

Again, perhaps I'm sadistic and unstable (yeah, perhaps....), but if by some coincidence I was in that store at that time, I have a feeling I'd be doubled over with laughter when I discovered what had happened.

And to you, Mr. Wall-Mart-Cranial-Ventillation, our collective tax roles thank you for saving we the people the expense of prosecuting you, and limiting it to the cost of a mop, and a few folks therapy bills..

Angry

Biggest thing I got from the story was the SEVENTEEN year old with a TWO year old daughter, and is FOUR months pregnant! Typical Wal-marter.

Boy there are some sadistic people here. I'm all about weeding out those violent, criminal, non productive members of society but I didn't realize there were so many volunteers to clean up something like that. OR is it just the "it's not my my job, so who cares?" mentality? It's VERY easy to sit at a computer and say you'd clean it up but I've had people get faint from some of the things I had to clean up and it sure wasn't someone's head.

clean up in apartment six

i used to work for a property management company, one of the condo owners in a complex we managed decided to do a minor surgery to him self with his 357. needless to say it wasn't good. we got the call to clean it up. not my job is right and that's what i told my office. in most states you have to be certified to handle any type of a clean up like that. i think if you do a little diging you will find the reason you had to clean it up was your boss was to cheap to call some one in to clean up the mess.

Thankfully I didn't have to clean it as it wasn't in my store but let me tell you, there's a reason why Wal-Mart has such good prices. THEY'RE CHEAP! The managers will cut corners wherever possible. I spent 8 1/2 years there and saw a lot of things.

Saw a show on the tube a year or so ago, about an entrepreneur who started his own business cleaning up hazardous human waste from suicides, homicides, accidents, etc. One call does it all.
