Question need help with block id
my block number is d7tea38

i believe that decodes to a 77 truck block, but it doesnt say what cid the motor is, im sure its not an FE block, the last year for the FE was 76, if it has 5 valve cover bolts its an FE.

I believe there were D7TE blocks made for replacement blocks were there not? It should be a regular 360/390 block if it is an FE. There will be no way to know if it is a 360 or 390 without checking the stroke.

that could be true Sean, i guess i forgot about the replacements, i think there may have been D7 replacement heads if i think about it to.
