exhaust vibration

my engine is vibrating and has broken the weld on my muffler..it's an up and down vibration..only way to explain it... any ideas what can be causing it..(glad to be back BTW)

Do you think the engine is missing or is it just moving?

Well'Keno..The engine is still there..LOL..i've checked the motor mounts and they are tight..i might just need a tune-up..even tho it does run fine..maybe the timing is off a bit?hmmmm

Glad to here the engine didn't call the movers, sounds like a good place to start. I can't figure how it could be moving up and down, would be interesting tto see that.

Well...it was the Fan Clutch causing it to vibrate so badd..the bearings were shot and it was froze uo crooked...i replaced it and now it is smooth as a ..er..well smooth...BM
