stanadyne fuel additive

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Jun-02 AT 08:11 AM (EST)]I use Stanadyne every time I fuel up. What it's supposed to do is raise the cetane rating, lube the injectors, and generally clean the fuel system. It keeps the fuel from gelling in cold weather, too. It only adds a few cents to the cost of fueling up, and the improved mpg more than pays for it. It doesn't void any warranty, and it is used by some mechanics full strength to help overcome some fuel system problems. They fill up the fuel filter bowl with Stanadyne, and run that through to help clear out the injectors. From that, I don't think you can OD on the stuff.

I hope this helps.
