Headliner trim

I have a '79 crew cab with a 2 piece headliner. I would like to know where I might be able to find the plastic snap on trim piece that connects the front and back. Mine is full of cracks. Do I need to try to salvage what I got or can I just replace it. Has anyone tried making a one piece headliner?

I own an auto upholstery shop, and I've never come across this type of trim from the aftermaket. I ended up using the old one on my crew, wasn't too bad of shape. problem with the one piece board idea is that it is over 48 inches wide, which means the new panel board is too small.
