Yeah, I figured with the 4 banger it would be light duty, but it's the girlfriends truck and her original manual keeps mentioning the 35. It just doesn't say for sure which one it is.

You have a rear Ranger Egor the stop making the 2.3 in the 4x4 in 92.I would say ita D35 front end.Count the bolts in the front of the dif. If there are 12 its a D28. if it 10 its a d35.

Thanks, Grayranger. It's definitley a 93 with a 2.3. They must have been using up some left over parts when they built this one. It needs ball joints, so just trying to identify it so we get the right ones.
