Exhaust Questions
#1, i want true dual exhaust, like i muff/cat per header. I see that they make H pipes, and X pipes to connect the two sides, is this nesessary? You have to cross the two sets of pipes somehow? My dad was telling me about how he just ran pipes off each header, without connnecting them, and it was fine. But this was on a much older vehicle. Any ideas?
#2. Can i get away with buying a flowmaster muffler with the dual in/dual out and running two cats?
#3, for any pair of headers i see, they have the right header, the left header, and the Y pipe that connects the two. If i wanted true dual exhaust, i would have to ditch the Y pipe, is there somthing special i have to use to hook up each pipe to each of the headers, or is there some kind of pipe i should buy?
