Engine Swap
I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 1989 Bronco with the 5.8L and c-6 trans. I was thinking of buying a 1982 f250 that has the 5.8L in it and swaping the engine and trans. My question is will everything off my engine work on the new engine and will the trans fit. The engine in the f250 is pretty new it only has like 15,000 miles on it but the rest of the truck is in bad shape. Oh and the truck has a manual trans in it. Thanks for any help.

there should be mounting holes under your dash cuz broncos where availible with man tranys, so evrything from the truck should go in the bronco with little or no modifacation, I'm not shure on the lenght of the manv-vs- auto but worst case, you may have to cut or lenghten your drive shaft which is not that expensive and may not be nesc.
