Clamp on Probe

Clamp on Probe
I saw in one thread there is a clamp on type pyrometer probe . Can this be used with any gauge? I am looking into getting a Tuner not sure which one , but from reading some of the threads I will buy gauges first to make sure to keep an eye on things and to compare to my stock reading. Well thanks to anyone that could reply, I am new here and like all that I have read . Lots and Lots of valuable info on this site.

You can get "clamp on" , or weld/pipe thread adapted probes for most gauges.. Check/call Motorhaven for ISSPRO R3607GR EGT gauge, and or Boost.. They are almost an exact match to the OEM factory dash gauges, and "back illuminate" with red pointer... VERY NICE QUALITY.. They don't show them on the Motorhaven site, but I'm sure they'll get them for you.. I bought a Autometer EGT gauge, and thought it didn't illuminate/read as well as the ISSPRO units.. I bought the Isspro (above) and it looks really nice..
