351m/400 rebild
i am rebilding my 1979 351 out of my bronco. i have new crank,mains and rod bearings stock pistons, stock heads, edelbrock 4 berral intake, and a edebrock 600 cfm carb. what would be a good cam to use. i do not want to use a stock cam. want something with a little umf. any help or sugestions would be apreteated.

I oiginally had a 351 with Edelbrock #2171 Intake and a Carter 625. Decided to use the Comp Cams 268. Probably the best thing I ever did to that engine. The difference in power was like day and night. It will definetely wake up your rig!!!! I've seen alot of posts here saying the Comp Cams 265 DEH is an excellent choice also.

thanks. i will see if i can get that cam. every time i try to get a comp cam they tell me that the # i give them is no good or they need more info. in canada we are limited to what supplyers we can yous lol. also what type of shift kit is recomended for a c6 tranny. thanks again for any help.
