Yes. The warranty will only be voided on the part of the exhaust that you remove. All other warranty will remain good unless the problem is somehow caused by the modified exhaust (like melted abs wiring or something of that nature)
I have had mine on for a year now and It hasn't caused me any problems.
I had a local shop install my Flowmaster with custom tailpipes out the rear.
Yes that's the kit I had installed last week on my '03 Supercrew 4X4. I went to the local Meineke Muffler shop that I usually deal with, and he charged me $100 to install it. Just for the heck of it I went to a Midas muffler shop, and they said the job was two hours so the price would be $155 plus tax.
Shop around, you'd be surprised how much you can save. Actually, the installation isn't that hard. The worst part is removing the old exhaust from the cat back.
Went to a local muffler shop today to check prices on a custom install with a 50 series flowmaster. The quote he gave me was less than buying the flowmaster kit. 350 dollars out the door. Only difference is no tips, which I think you get with the kit.
i did mine in about 45 mins. real easy. I used a wizzer grinder at the cat to just cut the outside pipe and a hacksaw behind the muffler. Install the supplyed hanger posistion and tighten it all up
