I have a '94 350 7.3 turbo diesel direct injection manual 5spd that doesn't have any *****. It's the first one I've owned and I thought it would have a lot more towing power than it does. It only has 65000 miles on it. I pull a fifthwheel trailer with it and when I hit a grade of any sort I eventually wind up in 3rd gear at 35mph. It sure blows a lot of smoke pulling uphill but doesm't any other time to speak of. It has a dualmass flywheel and 4:11 gears so it seems like it should pull a little better than this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot think of what is wrong, with such little information, but it is most definitely a sick truck. You should not be able to say that of a powerstroke, so you need work done on it.

I have a 94 F350 7.3 as well. What are the first steps to getting more power? I'm not too impressed with it as is. It has 35's lift kit and I need it to pull a 10K # trailer. It is a 5 speed.
Thanks for the info.
