Dual Exhaust System
I've been trying to find a cat-back dual system for my XLT, Extended, Cab, 6.5 ft. bed. MagnaFlow & Gibson have them for the 5.4 liter but not the 4.6 liter. They're also confused about the two short beds, 5.5 ft. vs. 6.5 ft. Anyone have any ideas?????

I only know a few things about Borla. Others will have to give you Magnaflow, Gibson, Flowmaster, etc. info.

Borla #140086 is a SIDE exit. From what I gather off of the Borla web site, it's "4.6L/5.4L 2+4WD AT/MT EC SB." So, it should work on 4.6L, either WD, EC extended cab, and SB short bed. Don't buy direct though. Search ebay (ex#1, ex#2) or go with ajusa.com.
Now, if you want dual, rear exit pipes, then you'll want to check out the Borla #140087. Here are some results on ebay ... and ajusa.com.

Gibson exhaust
I went down to my ford dealer on a sunday measured the exhaust system,on a 5.4 with extended cab 6.5 ft bed,it was exactly the same as my STX extended cab with 6.5 ft bedwith the 4.6 engine I ordered from gibson their exhaust for the 5.4,it fit perfectly on my STX 4.6 and I am well pleased with it's performance.gave 285 bucks for it with free shipping there are several places giving free shipping.

Thanks for the reply. I'm taking delivery of my truck tomorrow and I'll see what the service manager can tell me about the measurements. I have a good relationship with him already. I really like the idea of a MagnFolw or Gibson system so I think I'll research some more and get EXACTLY what I want. Thanks again and Keep Truckin'.
