high flow mufflers
i got a 2002 f-150 with the 5.4 and was planning on doing some exhaust mods. I plan on getting a set of long tube headers with high flow cats. Does anyone know which mufflers have the highest flow rating because i am looking for a muffler that will produce the most HP gains. Thanks guys.

Aggie07, I've just been researching mufflers myself, for my Explorer. After looking at all the types, I've decided on giving the Hooker Aero Chambers a try. They're supposed to give the best flow of all the chambered type mufflers. They also are relatively quieter, which is what I'm looking for. The Explorer sees a lot of highway miles, so I didn't want anything that "drones" or is irritating at cruise.

I have a 04 f150 with about 200 miles on the ticker. I also have a 3" flowmaster in my garage left over after i switched to mac exhaust on one camaro and magnaflow on the other, now both camaros are gone and i have this muffler and this truck, i know its not ideal to use a 3 inch muffler on a smaller system, well i guess thats my question, what size exhaust pipe DO we have?
