front differential
i am getting a weird noise from the front differential of my 1997 ford explorer , and the 4wd high and the 4wd low light keeps flashing what is all this telling me can somebody help me

had a similiar issue
Went to the dealership and found the auto 4wheel drive sensors needed to be replaced and were keeping me in 4wheel drive all the time - you will notice a significant decrease in MPG as well. They ended up replacing the sensors for the all aheel drive and the front transfer case motor. Not sure if you are having the same issue..
