Anybody know what the value of Lionel stuff is these days? I'm going to an auction this weekend and may bid on the Lionels and some of the old gas station signs.

Well I can't comment on the last three items, but for the Lionel trains go to your local hobby shop, listed in the phone book, or Amazon.com and get The Greenberg Guide to Lionel trains, it is pretty up to date and should give you an idea of what to expect when you buy those trains. Ebay is also a good resource.

I don't know exact numbers, but from the sound of it, that stuff is gonna be EXPENSIVE. Lionel items always are. I have an uncle who collects them. Of course, the items will go high if the auction is advertised a lot. I've seen a lot of valuable stuff go for quite cheap because of a lack of people that came. So, if it's publicized, expect the stuff to go quite high. Just my .02
